We made the deadline for the May-June SHIPMATE, April 01, 2010, and only received positive feedback from the publisher wishing that "West Point and the other schools would do something like this, too!"

The word “reconnection” remained a point of discussion. See USNA AA usage in Facebook reference on page 41 of January-February Shipmate.
The background photo is a significant image taken from the opening sequence and is also use in our media press kit. The obelisk at the top of the chapel dome has been cut off to preclude this being mostly a shot at the sky.
In print, the image will be 5" high by 7-1/8" wide. Click on the photo to see the full sized JPG file.

It's been a long time (2005) since USNA Out placed our first and only ad in SHIPMATE magazine. Here's the start of a new proposal. The gened alums will need to design this. . . . Eric & Joe you are going to have a heyday with this I know.
Right off the cuff, it's not "attention grabbing" for our target audience. Let's get as many members involved as we can and come up with a stellar ad!
