Anthony F. Chiffolo '81
Anthony Chiffolo grew up in East Schodack, New York, just across the Hudson River from Albany. He graduated from the Naval Academy at the top of his class, proceeded to Pensacola to train as a Naval Flight Officer, and eventually joined VAW-126 where he flew as a mission commander in the E-2C Hawkeye aircraft embarqued onboard the USS JOHN F KENNEDY (CV 67). After a brief shore tour testing datalink software, he joined the editorial staff of the Naval Institute Press. He also remained in the Naval Reserve, from which he retired after 20 years of service.
Chiffolo's editorial career has also included positions with Liguori Publications, Fordham University Press, and Praeger Publishers. He is currently director of print (book) publications for ABC-CLIO, a reference and general-interest nonfiction publisher.
Additionally, Chiffolo is the author of ten published books, the most recent of which he has written with his partner: COOKING WITH THE MOVIES: MEALS ON REELS and COOKING WITH THE BIBLE: RECIPES FOR BIBLICAL MEALS. Anthony has a 20-year-old daughter now at university. He lives with his spouse/partner, Rusty, in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
