To Be a "Role Model"
For most of the members of USNA Out, there were no role models, let alone "positive" role models of any LGBT alumni before us. The members of USNA Out are now here to provide that role model particularly for:
Midshipmen
Alumni serving in the Fleet/FMF
Parents, family and friends of LGBT or questioning midshipmen and junior officers
USNA Out OBJECTIVES
Support the United States Naval Academy and each other through:
Visibility (whenever possible personalized, with a human face and voice) to:
- alumni
- midshipmen
- classmates
- other officers
- public
Outreach
