What You Can Do

What you can do as a LGBT alumni to make a difference

JOIN/SHARE

Join USNA Out, and share our existence with out LGBT alumni whom you have met. Our biggest strength is our numbers. Imagine having known that there were more than 600 LGBT alumni of the Naval Academy with whom you could network.

GET MORE INVOLVED

If you have a talent, skill or energy that you can bring to the organization, please step forward and join one of our Advisory Committees

BE VISIBLE

Join the USNA Alumni Association and participate in your area chapter events. And take your partner/boyfriend/girlfriend to local chapter alumni functions.

BE A ROLE MODEL

To put a real face on who we are here at USNA Out, all USNA Out Members are strongly encouraged to create a “Biography Page”for inclusion on this USNA Out website where you may share your experiences as an Alumnus. You must be a registered user and logged onto this site to create content, otherwise you will get a page in the forbidden zone.

BE A LEADER AMONG ALUMNI

If you are in a stable financial situation, consider joining fellow USNA Out members who have become members of the USNA Alumni Association and Foundation’s “President’s Circle”

  • Take your partner to your class, company or team reunion – many of us have found that the real face of a real person makes it much easier for our company mates, classmates and teammates to understand that our relationships are identical to theirs.

    SHARE YOUR STORIES

Submit articles to your class column as do your classmates and include your “family” in the photos and your writeup.

    SHARE OPPORTUNITY

    Donate to USNA Out.
